Most of these animal lives in agriculture, where they get particular treatment to maximize their production quality.
What are the Types of Farm Animals?
There are various livestock animals that you can recognize, such as chickens, cows, goats, pigs, and more. However, there are many kinds of them that you might not really be familiar with. According to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, livestock is bovine animals, elk, reindeer, bison, horses, deer, sheep, goats, swine, poultry (including egg-producing poultry), llamas, alpacas, live fish, crawfish, and other animals (dairy producing cattle) or offspring; or animal purchased for an authorized operation and not to acquire benefits.
The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations divided the types of farm animals as below:
